If there are 100 guests, a wedding party that is 14 people including parents, approximately how long does it take a for a receiving line from beginning to end?

I just talked to a secretary in charge of wedding coordination at the church where we are getting married. I knew from when we booked the wedding, they only give you 15 minutes to be OUT afterward - so 15 minutes for photos and such. However, I was told now that they no longer ALLOW receiving lines because they take too long ( Read more... )

Okay, so when people have those awesome photos of the new couple walking out of the church with everyone blowing bubbles - how does that work? Because the first people to LEAVE are the new couple as they walk down the aisle, so how do you get everyone to go outside first before they walk out? Is it all just staged? Any advice would be appreciated.

My FH and I have decided that we don't want to see each other before the ceremony. The ceremony will be at 3. The reception will follow the ceremony almost immediately (probably starting around 3:45). Photos will also follow the ceremony, and we estimate that they'll take about an hour ( Read more... )

Are any of you having a receiving line at your reception.  I would like each person in my party to be announced and then my husband and I.  When would we do a recieving line.  I really don't want one because it just eats into precious reception  enjoyment time. And we will go around to all the table s anyway.  FH wants to do what's traditional.
